Young Legends Academy Partners with 18th Battalion, The Madras Regiment, for teaching Public Speaking to children of Army Personnel

Young Legends Academy is proud to partner with the 18th Battalion, The Madras Regiment, of the Indian Army to teach the children of these brave soldiers.
This battalion has a rich tradition and legacy of having invaded Pakistan and occupied Sindh in the 1971 war. They were recently honored with a citation. We are extremely honored to partner with this glorious unit.

This partnership has been possible because of the support and encouragement from Shakunthala Bhandarkar, w/o of war hero Lt Col Ajit V Bhandarkar, and Shaurya Chakra. Wearing many hats as a social entrepreneur, author, and educator, she has dedicated herself to the youth of India.

A special thanks to the First Lady of the battalion, Mrs. Sangeetha Kadam, for coordinating with the parents and the children and providing them with this fantastic opportunity to learn public speaking and communication skills.
The children are from various age groups and states. One common quality among these children is that they are energetic and talented. We were also able to inspire them to display their skills in painting, singing, dancing, and even answering riddles and quizzes.

We at the Young Legends Academy are blessed to have been supported by many individuals and the opportunity to touch the futures of young children.
